Job Summary

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the Product Marketing strategy to drive Guidewheel's growth and success. This includes building a world-class Product Marketing function, developing product positioning and messaging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create effective marketing collateral and sales enablement assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Execute Product Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive Product Marketing strategy that aligns with Guidewheel's overall business objectives.
  • Build a World-Class Product Marketing Function: Establish a high-performing Product Marketing team that drives results and contributes to the company's growth.
  • Develop Product Positioning and Messaging: Create compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates Guidewheel's FactoryOps platform.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, customer success, customers, and products to build and evangelize relevant messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Create Effective Marketing Collateral and Sales Enablement Assets: Develop and execute effective marketing collateral and sales enablement assets that support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Launch New Product Features and Initiatives: Develop and execute launch plans for new product features or initiatives, working closely with product, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Inform Product Roadmap: Work closely with the leadership team to define strategy for pricing/packaging and help Product Marketing thoughtfully inform the product roadmap.
Requirements
  • Strategic Marketing Expertise: Outstanding ability to strategically define and execute marketing direction and positioning, deeply understanding both the customer and the market.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging Expertise: Experience delivering world-class product positioning and messaging.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Exceptional care and empathy for customers, adept at swiftly understanding the way different personas think, feel, and make decisions and translating that into compelling strategy, positioning, messaging, and collateral that connects deeply with the customer.
  • Strong Writing Skills: Superb writer, with the ability to create well-structured content that's clear, direct, and inspiring, resonating with the nuances of emotion and language tailored to each persona.
