We are seeking a dedicated ICU Progressive Care Unit nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As an ICU Progressive Care Unit nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission.
Job SummaryThe RN ICU-Progressive Care Unit-Nights position is responsible for delivering safe direct care to assigned patients in the ICU Progressive Care Unit. This role involves working within the nursing process to provide individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients consistent with clinical specialty (PCU/ICU/ED etc.)
- Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care
- Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree, Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate, and current CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. The university also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
