Position Overview

Are you seeking a nursing role that allows you to enhance your skills, feel appreciated, and positively impact your community? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver quality, holistic care to patients throughout their healthcare journey, ensuring they feel supported and understood. Our ambulatory LPNs operate under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, enjoying the autonomy of being the primary nurse for a provider within their scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
  • Document comprehensive medical histories from patients
  • Assist in patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as prescribed
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
  • Advise patients and families, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment strategies

Qualifications

LPN: Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

If the position necessitates IV therapy/management skills, candidates must have graduated from a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is included in the curriculum or completed an IV Therapy course sanctioned by the relevant Nursing Board.

Must hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and maintain required competencies and certifications.

Medical Assistant: Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.

Prior experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

National certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (MA) is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within six months of employment, with re-certification as needed.
