Position Overview

Are you seeking a fulfilling nursing career that allows you to enhance your skills, feel appreciated, and make a significant difference in the lives of patients? We are looking for a compassionate and collaborative Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to deliver quality, patient-centered care and ensure that individuals feel supported and valued throughout their treatment process. Our LPNs and MAs operate under the guidance of Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Providers, or Physicians, enjoying the autonomy of being primary caregivers within their professional scope.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
  2. Document comprehensive medical histories from patients.
  3. Assist in patient assessments and administer prescribed medications or treatments.
  4. Provide technical assistance to healthcare professionals.
  5. Offer guidance to patients and families regarding prevention and treatment plans, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

LPN: Must be a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

If the role requires IV therapy skills, candidates must have completed an approved program or course in IV therapy.

Must hold a valid and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and maintain necessary competencies and certifications.

Medical Assistant: Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Must be nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within six months of employment.
