We are seeking a dedicated Program Assistant to join our team on a part-time on-call basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our Case Managers and must be passionate about immigration and human rights issues. Responsibilities may extend beyond regular business hours, so flexibility is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to Case Managers, including picking up new clients.
- Deliver home safety training and education.
- Coordinate communication between clients and Case Managers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure clients receive appropriate services.
- Complete any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Fluency in multiple languages, including Burmese, Rohingya, Arabic, Sango, Spanish, Kiswahili, and Kinyarwanda.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse individuals.
- Passion for human rights advocacy.
- Positive attitude and diplomatic approach.
Physical Demands:
- Manual dexterity and sensory skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and focus for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
