Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at North Suburban Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to newborns in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IV lines, administering medications, and performing blood draws.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Neonate Resuscitate required within first three months of hire.
  • STABLE Preferred.
