We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with a wide range of illnesses and injuries, including lifesaving procedures in emergency and trauma situations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for patients with various medical conditions, including chronic problems, minor illnesses, and injuries.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting.
- Participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities, completing required competencies within defined time frames.
- Maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
- Support the mission, philosophy, and goals of Sunrise Hospital.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
- ENPC, TCAR, and PCAR-Trauma Resus Team certifications within 1 year of hire for Adult ED.
- CEN certification preferred.
- Current acute clinical care experience in emergency medicine within the past 5 years preferred.
- Two years of hospital emergency medicine experience within the past 5 years preferred.
- Must meet clinical standards specific to the assigned patient care area.
