Site General Manager Job Description

TravelCenters of America is seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to fill the role of Site General Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a designated travel center, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Profit Center Managers and other site staff to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform business decisions and drive results.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing costs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
