About the Role

STV, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead. This is a key position that will be responsible for leading medium to large-scale civil engineering projects in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality civil engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including design, analysis, and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project success.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project delivery.
Requirements
  • Accredited degree in Civil Engineering, Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 11 years of related work experience, including project management and leadership roles.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad experience in civil engineering project management, including design, construction, and operations.
  • Experience with project management software, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software, including BIM and CAD.
  • Experience working with clients, stakeholders, and partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
