Hotel Operations Manager

The Hotel Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful launch of our newly renovated 24-room hotel. Reporting to the owners and corporate management team, this individual will oversee the final opening processes and lead the hiring and training of hotel staff.
As a key member of our team, the Hotel Manager will be responsible for ensuring a consistent focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving profitability. To achieve this, they will develop and implement effective strategies, create a motivated and empowered team, and foster positive relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff members.
- Oversee daily hotel operations and staffing.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with hotel policy.
- Ensure proper coverage of all departments and provide assistance when needed.
- Coordinate and oversee all hotel operations, ensuring quality service within the established business plan and budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and handling special requests.
- Manage customer feedback and online reviews.
- Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial information, plan purchases, and monitor key performance metrics.
- Coordinate services with outside suppliers, vendors, travel agencies, and event planners.
- Develop and maintain a marketing strategy to promote the hotel and its services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate peak demand periods.
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management, business administration, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in the hotel industry, with managerial experience preferred.
- Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
- Facilities management experience is preferred but not required.
- Competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $66,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
- Manager housing is available upon request and will be factored into the total compensation package offered.
