Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the care of our patients.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with registered nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, document data, and report observations and concerns to the registered nurse.
- Assist patients with mobility and basic tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in purposeful hourly rounding and bedside shift report as directed.
- Perform direct and indirect patient care duties as assigned and provide clerical support to the assigned unit.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of patient assistance and care procedures.
- Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in healthcare, demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy, and completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification or currently enrolled in nursing school.
