Key Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of nursing and medical personnel, perform essential duties of a PCT I, including assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, providing updates to Registered Nurses or other healthcare professionals.
  • Measure and record vital signs and collect samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Facilitate basic patient transport and maintain cleanliness in patient areas.
  • Additionally, this role involves tracking patients' intake and output, assisting with mobility exercises, and performing blood draws.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Ability to perform competently in at least two general practice areas (cross-trained to cover multiple roles).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited CNA, PCT, or paramedic program, or current enrollment in a nursing program.
  • At least two years of experience in acute or long-term care settings is preferred.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy is highly desirable.
