Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of recent bedside CNA experience, or be enrolled in a Nursing program and have CNA experience.
  • Must be willing and able to "float" to our sister facilities located in Broken Arrow, Owasso and Sapulpa.
