Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of surgical services policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff on surgical procedures, post-operative care, and wound management.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our electronic health record system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner).
- Experience in surgical services, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
