Job Summary:

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team in the Hematology/Oncology department. This role requires a focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay. The nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements, and manages the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care.

Responsibilities:

* Assess and coordinate patient care needs
* Plan, direct, and implement patient care plans
* Manage patient care teams and ensure competent, compassionate care
* Collaborate with referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings

Requirements:

* Registered Professional Nurse licensure
* Experience in Hematology/Oncology care
* Strong communication and collaboration skills

The Registered Professional Nurse works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care. This role requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
