Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at SB Clinical Practice Management. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds in accordance with established practices and procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, and imaging techniques to optimize the quality of ultrasound images.
  • Position patients on examination tables for optimum testing procedures and conditions.
  • Explain procedures in easy-to-understand terms to relieve patient anxiety.
  • Set up equipment to administer procedures in a timely fashion.
  • Provide proper and accurate documentation of patient care in medical records.
  • Maintain infection control precautions and identify potential infection control problems.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance activities within the department.
  • Participate in annual recertification training, compliance training, and HIPAA training.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Associates Degree with completion of ultrasound program (preferred)
  • 2 years related experience in an outpatient practice setting (preferred)
