Key Responsibilities:
The Facilities Operations Manager will oversee initiatives related to the organization’s physical premises, which includes:

  • Formulating and managing project plans and budgets for space acquisition, modification, and occupancy.
  • Coordinating and supervising both internal and external facility resources.
  • Evaluating and enhancing the efficiency of HVAC and utility services.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the utilization of space and facilities.
  • Acting as the primary liaison with public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with local building codes and OSHA regulations.

Expectations:
The Facilities Operations Manager will:

  • Guarantee that service providers related to building and equipment fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and manage renovations and updates.
  • Contribute to the formulation of business unit objectives and action plans to proactively address the needs of a growth-oriented organization.
  • Assist in establishing and managing a comprehensive space planning strategy to support the operational goals of the company.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, such as construction, is preferred.
  • The ability and willingness to perform at a high level, including general repairs and improvements.
  • Familiarity with the technical and critical aspects of Facilities Management.
  • Preferred certifications in facilities management (CFM, CPM, RPA, or MCR).
  • Preferred qualifications in Project or Program Management.
  • A working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Flexibility in work hours based on business requirements.
