Job Summary:

As a Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and services to our customers. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on their health and wellness, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring that patients receive the correct medication and dosage.
  • Counsel patients on their health and wellness, providing education and guidance on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medications, treatments, and best practices in patient care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration among our healthcare team members.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient information and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
