Job Overview:

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide patient-centered care that aligns with the Mission and Vision of the pharmacy department, encompassing all facets of pharmacy practice relevant to your specific responsibilities.

You will be accountable for patient outcomes and must demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities as needed.

Exhibit enthusiasm and integrity while promoting Avera McKennan and its services positively to all clients and colleagues.

Flexibility and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment are essential. You will coordinate workflow with other team members to maintain a productive and effective setting. Additionally, you may mentor students and residents as assigned and oversee technical staff as necessary. Participation in organizational committees may also be required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree is preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Registered Pharmacist in the state of South Dakota is mandatory.

• Board Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is preferred (Refer to the staff development plan for specific requirements).

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; 56 hours bi-weekly

• Every 3rd weekend

• Every 3rd holiday

• Every 3rd on-call duty
