Under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist, this professional is responsible for conducting computerized tomography procedures, including those that may involve invasive techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: The CT Imaging Specialist is tasked with positioning and instructing patients effectively to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Equipment Operation: This role requires proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment and determining the appropriate technical parameters for exposure.
  • Film Management: It is essential to ensure accurate marking and labeling of all imaging films.
  • Patient Care: Consistent delivery of safe and quality patient care is a fundamental expectation of this position.
  • On-Call Duties: The CT Imaging Specialist may be required to take on-call responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA Radiology program and hold ARRT registration.
