Environmental Services Supervisor

The Environmental Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the effective management of the Environmental Services (EVS) team during their shift. This position involves collaborating closely with the EVS management to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently upheld across all areas of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the EVS management in maintaining cleanliness and service excellence.
- Act as the main point of contact for team members during the shift.
- Review and discuss feedback from daily inspections with EVS leadership.
- Manage inventory and cleanliness of storage areas, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.
- Prepare supplies for the next shift to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and inspection of cleaning equipment.
- Ensure all team members receive proper training for their assigned duties.
- Conduct daily inspections of all gaming and non-gaming EVS areas.
- Address reasonable guest requests or direct them to the appropriate personnel for assistance.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive and proprietary information.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism in appearance, conduct, and ethics.
- Participate in regular departmental meetings and additional relevant gatherings.
- Complete necessary reports promptly to meet organizational deadlines.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Compliance and Regulatory Duties:
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, each team member is expected to adhere to compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Attend mandatory training sessions provided by the organization.
- Obtain and maintain necessary licenses.
- Execute duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure minors are not permitted in gambling areas or allowed to consume alcohol or tobacco.
- Be knowledgeable about the regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to the department.
- Understand the organization's programs addressing problem gaming.
- Report any observed misconduct or violations.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- High school diploma is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in management within a similar environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of a valid driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform essential functions, which may include sitting, standing, walking, using hands for various tasks, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The work environment may be moderately loud, and the employee will circulate throughout assigned areas, including areas with smoking.
