Pediatric Radiologic Technologist Lead

As a Lead Radiologic Technologist at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Radiologic Procedures department. Under general supervision, you will function as a lead or resource person for personnel involved in Radiologic Procedures, performing duties as required.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the flow of work, delegate tasks, and oversee staff in carrying out their duties.
- Follow up on activities, resolve problems, and ensure the department operates in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor work quantity and quality to ensure completion.
- Ensure prescribed diagnostic procedures are performed according to department standards.
- Recommend personnel actions, including performance appraisals, hiring decisions, and progressive disciplines.
- Assist with monitoring performance improvement plans and scheduling of radiologic technologists.
- Monitor activities for compliance with laws, government regulations, JC requirements, and DMC policies.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
- Required to have or successfully complete American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
- Two years progressively more responsible Radiologic work experience.
