We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, coordinating workflow, and guiding staff in carrying out their duties.
Responsibilities- Perform radiologic procedures according to established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the flow of work and delegate tasks to ensure efficient operation of the department.
- Oversee and guide staff in carrying out their respective duties.
- Monitor the quantity and quality of work flow to ensure work is completed.
- Ensure that prescribed diagnostic procedures are performed according to department standards.
- Recommend personnel actions, including performance appraisals, hiring decisions, and progressive disciplines.
- Assist with monitoring performance improvement plans and scheduling of radiologic technologists.
- Monitor activities for and ensure compliance with laws, government regulations, and DMC policies.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
- Two years progressively more responsible radiologic work experience.
