Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our radiologic technologists and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to radiologic technologists, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality in radiologic procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
  • Staff Development: Identify training needs and provide opportunities for professional growth and development among radiologic technologists.
  • Communication: Foster open communication among team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination of efforts.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve complex issues related to radiologic procedures, patient care, and departmental operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
  • Experience: Two years progressively more responsible radiologic work experience.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
