Job Summary

The General Mills Buffalo Plant is seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Team Leader Associate. This temporary position is designed to provide individuals with an opportunity to learn about manufacturing and operations at a General Mills facility, learn more about the Team Leader role, and bring new ideas/continuous improvement to the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting system audits and improvement engineering (establishing operating parameters, troubleshooting, overseeing installations / start-ups of major new systems)
  • Developing safety and sanitation programs
  • Ensuring quality compliance (lab analysis)
  • Understanding the roles of support and administrative departments
  • Open to shift work alternative shifts (2nd shift or 3rd shift) as part of the 24-7 operations of the plant

Requirements

  • Working toward a BS/BA in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial/Quality Engineering Technology, Operations, Manufacturing or Production or Business Management, Supply Chain Management
  • Students with a sophomore or junior year class status

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $68,700. At General Mills, we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role.
