Join CleanFiber Inc. as a key member of our production team, responsible for manufacturing high-quality cellulose insulation from recycled corrugated cardboard boxes. As a Manufacturing Associate C Shift, you will be trained on the job and accountable for:
- Learning and following OSHA and company mandated safety requirements.
- Operating equipment, monitoring production, testing finished product, storing finished products, and loading finished products for shipment.
- Performing maintenance of equipment and facilities, with a mechanical inclination and experience using hand tools.
- Managing different stages of the production line by following Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and recording data as needed.
- Contributing to problem-solving, streamlining work practices, and continually improving product and process quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant Startup: Follow standard procedures and record data in a startup environment, understanding and executing established operating procedures for equipment.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S housekeeping principles and ensuring all PPE and Safety Equipment are available and used properly.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to maximize safety, productivity, and efficiency, identifying and correcting risks or unsafe practices.
- Physical Exertion: Lift 55lb bags safely and stand for the majority of the shift (8-10 hours) depending on the weekly schedule.
Nice-To-Have Experience:
- Manufacturing experience.
- CleanTech and/or other venture experience.
- High School Diploma with 2-4 years manufacturing experience.
