Job Overview

CleanFiber Inc is seeking a highly motivated and safety-oriented individual to join our production team as a Manufacturing Associate A Shift. This role is responsible for manufacturing high-quality cellulose insulation from recycled corrugated cardboard boxes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and follow OSHA and company-mandated safety requirements
  • Perform all job functions throughout the plant, including receiving and preparing raw materials, operating equipment, monitoring production, testing finished product, storing finished products, and loading finished products for shipment
  • Conduct equipment and facility maintenance, with a mechanical inclination and experience using hand tools
  • Manage different stages of the production line by actively following Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and recording data as needed
  • Contribute to problem-solving, streamlining work practices, and continually improving product and process quality

Requirements:

  • Plant Startup: Ability to follow standard procedures and record data in a startup environment, with a focus on executing established operating procedures for equipment and activities during each designated shift
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S housekeeping principles, and ensure all PPE and safety equipment are available and used properly
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to maximize safety, productivity, and efficiency, identifying and correcting risks or unsafe practices
  • Physical Exertion: Ability to lift 55lb bags safely and stand for 8-10 hours depending on the weekly schedule

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • CleanTech and/or other venture experience
  • High School Diploma with 2-4 years manufacturing experience
