Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:

As an entry-level engineer, you will perform routine manufacturing engineering work requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. You will work as part of a Manufacturing Engineering Group, supporting developing and mature production programs in the fabrication shop with effective design of tools, fixtures, gages, procedures, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the fabrication of complex machined parts and sub-assemblies by providing timely and accurate N/C programs and work instructions.
  • Prepare engineered or estimated time standards for setup and run hours for each operation.
  • Make recommendations for improvement on fixtures, parts, drawings, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Help determine manufacturing procedures, establish operation sequencing, prepare tooling and gauging lists, and write detailed operation sheets to produce complex machined parts and sub-assemblies to meet engineering drawings.
  • Provide technical support to the production shops solving problems and improving processes associated with the parts/fixtures and manufacturing capital equipment.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree (ME or IE preferred) or additional seasoned experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Two + years of relevant experience.
  • Possess human relation skills to work with Moog suppliers to coordinate operation sheets containing outside and inside operations.
  • Working knowledge of precision machine shop practices including cutting tools, jig and fixture construction, gaging practices, and various machining processes/machine tools.

Salary Range: $60,736.00-$85,000.00 Annually
