Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead the annual budget process, collaborating with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive financial plan.
    • Conduct ongoing financial reviews and analysis, providing insightful reports and presentations to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
    • Oversee all bookkeeping functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Manage cash flow and investments, proactively monitoring projections and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance.
    • Develop a long-range financial plan that considers both short-term and long-term implications of strategic initiatives.
    • Lead the annual audit preparation process, ensuring smooth collaboration with external auditors.
    • Manage relationships with banking institutions, securing favorable terms and services.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Oversee the revenue cycle management for clinical billing, including insurance contract negotiations and resolution of outstanding claims.
    • Coordinate the development and implementation of contracts for services provided to towns and private schools.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Work closely with the Treasurer to guide and support the Finance Committee in its decision-making processes.
    • Maintain strong relationships with Board members, providing financial updates and insights as needed.
    • Cultivate effective communication channels with banking institutions, insurance brokers, and insurance companies.
  • Human Resources Management:
    • Serve as the primary liaison with our contracted HR lead, ensuring seamless coordination of HR functions.
    • Manage all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and flexible spending accounts.
    • Collaborate with the benefits manager vendor and HR lead to provide comprehensive healthcare benefit selection and Flexible Spending Allowance program administration.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Conduct annual reviews of insurance coverage, monitoring costs and obtaining competitive bids as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, including the Department of Public Health and local/state safety departments.
  • Facilities & IT Management:
    • Oversee building operations, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our staff and clients.
    • Manage relationships with vendors providing facilities maintenance, cleaning, phone systems, HVAC, pest control, landscaping, and snow removal services.
    • Maintain internal Wi-Fi infrastructure and plan for the selection of appropriate office suite applications to support internal operations.
  • Office Administration:
    • Work closely with the Administrative Coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations, including greeting clients, notifying clinicians, managing room utilization, answering phones, responding to messages and inquiries, categorizing and depositing incoming payments, coordinating maintenance projects, and monitoring website notes.
