Planned Companies - Concierge Operations Supervisor - Job Description Overview

A Concierge/Security/Janitorial Supervisor is tasked with ensuring outstanding service is delivered to all residents and their visitors. This position is accountable for developing a proficient Concierge team that maintains the lobby environment while adhering to our Customer Service Standards and executing all workplace expectations and policies, including financial oversight to meet payroll budgetary objectives.

Schedule- Flexible Schedule- On call weekends

Compensation- $65,000-$75,000 (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Guarantees that Concierge Operations function effectively and align with Property Management and/or Board of Directors' standards.
  • Maintains Client Satisfaction to ensure contract retention.
  • Ensures every client and guest receives a Warm Welcome and Fond Farewell.
  • Recruits, trains, inspires, supervises, and mentors team members - leads by example.
  • Ensures all team members are trained to respond intelligently and swiftly to all emergency situations.
  • Utilizes Company Approved Team Scheduler to ensure payroll budget compliance.
  • Completes necessary Payroll Tasks by Company deadlines.
  • Offers a diverse range of services to clients, including but not limited to car service, dog walking, dry cleaning, grocery delivery, etc.
  • Facilitates smooth operations of contractor arrivals/departures and realtor/home buyer visits.
  • Fills in for team members to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Participates in company meetings/trainings and ensures all team members engage in company training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a janitorial or hospitality environment.
  • Professional background in customer service and hospitality management.
  • Must be hospitality-oriented and willing to assist clients and guests as needed.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Proficient in multitasking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proactive in learning about local events, attractions, restaurants, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and the Internet.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with a keen attention to detail from project initiation to follow-up.
  • Proven leadership capabilities to develop and motivate team members while effectively supervising and training them to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage positively with clients.
  • Ability to diplomatically address sensitive and challenging client concerns.
  • Familiarity with budgetary and cost control responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Customer service experience: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Security experience: 3 years (preferred)
