Monroe School District #103 is seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Specialist - School Van Driver to join our team.
Job SummaryThis position involves safely operating school vans and cars, transporting students on regular and special programs, and adhering to federal and state laws and district regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and physical stamina to perform daily duties.
About the RoleThe Transportation Specialist - School Van Driver will be responsible for:
- Safely operating school vans and cars under all weather conditions
- Transferring students between schools, events, and extracurricular activities
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding student information
- Working effectively with students of different grade levels and abilities
- Cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles
They must adhere to safety protocols and report incidents of child abuse or harassment as mandated by law. We require a minimum 5-year complete driving abstract, Washington State driver's license, CPR and first aid qualifications, and completion of the District Training Course for Non-CDL Drivers.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A high school graduate or equivalent degree
- A valid Washington State driver's license
- At least five years of experience as a licensed driver
- CPR and first aid certifications
- Successful completion of the District Training Course for Non-CDL Drivers
We offer a competitive salary of $ $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
