Patient Care Coordinator Associate

As an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Answering telephone calls, re-directing calls as appropriate, assisting callers with questions or concerns, and taking messages as needed
- Greeting patients as they arrive and managing wait time
- Completing check-in and check-out tasks, including insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and document preparation
- Collecting co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issuing receipts
- Processing walk-in patients and visitors
- Managing medical records, including maintenance, filing, and preparation for scheduling
- Ensuring all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processing requests for medical records release, and maintaining logs
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
- Performing all other related duties as assigned

Requirements:- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both in person and via phone
- Working knowledge of general office procedures
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Medical office experience
