As an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Answering telephone calls, re-directing calls as appropriate, assisting callers with questions or concerns, and taking messages as needed
  • Greeting patients as they arrive and managing wait time
  • Completing check-in and check-out tasks, including insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and document preparation
  • Collecting co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issuing receipts
  • Processing walk-in patients and visitors
  • Managing medical records, including maintenance, filing, and preparation for scheduling
  • Ensuring all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processing requests for medical records release, and maintaining logs
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
  • Performing all other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, both in person and via phone
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Medical office experience
