As an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, you will:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Answer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as needed
- Greet patients as they arrive and manage wait time
- Complete check-in and check-out tasks to include insurance verification, complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures, and copy required documents
- Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issue receipts
- Process walk-in patients and visitors
- Manage medical records (maintain, file/scans, prepare for schedule)
- Ensure all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, process requests for medical records release and maintain appropriate logs, etc.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
- Set up and clean coffee and water station for patients
- Assist with keeping the break room in good order
- May be required to travel locally up to 10% of the time for meetings or to cover other clinic locations

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills both in person and via phone
- Working knowledge of general office procedures
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Medical office experience
