Key Responsibilities:
The HRIS Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of People Operations & Systems within the Human Resources department. This role is crucial for overseeing the administration and configuration of all HR information systems, including but not limited to HR management, payroll, rewards, learning management, applicant tracking, and case management. The successful candidate will collaborate with various business units and HR teams to recommend best practices concerning security administration, business process design, and user experience for the designated HR information systems.
- Ensure optimal performance of internal HR information systems and manage associated database files, codes, backup files, and security measures.
- Install, implement, modify, and upgrade HR software and applications to align with evolving business and technological needs.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to all employees.
- Work closely with business leaders, internal HR personnel, and cross-functional system users to identify system enhancements and recommend solutions.
- Manage user permissions, access, and personalization settings for administrative and employee service users.
- Develop custom functions such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for day-to-day product support and HR database design projects.
- Ensure compliance with HR legislation, data security regulations, and privacy requirements.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in data management, security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
- Identify risks or opportunities and propose changes to processes that enhance HR service delivery.
- Document system processing procedures comprehensively.
- Create and deliver system-related training for various end users, from executive leadership to entry-level employees.
- Develop project plans, monitor progress, and report on all system-related initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in human resources or database administration, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or human resources management.
- Familiarity with ADP HR systems, WorkTango, Adobe Learning Manager, and/or Case IQ is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR legislation and data protection regulations affecting HR information systems.
- Proven track record of building effective business partnerships and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Proficient in influencing and managing change.
- Strong planning and project management capabilities.
- Experience in creating and conducting virtual presentations and training sessions.
