High-Performance Software Engineer for Virtual Networking Systems

We are re-engineering our virtual networking control plane to achieve near-bare-metal performance. This role involves building, scaling, and maintaining high-performance software to streamline VPC management.

Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity to own major deliverables and aspects of the development cycle: scoping, design, implementation, and testing. You will exercise judgment in determining and recommending best features, designs, and support models based on business objectives, timelines, and resource constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and high-performing software systems
  • Maintain and improve existing systems to meet evolving demands
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive roadmap and service direction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
