Job Overview:

This role involves designing, deploying, and managing high-performance computing networks for our clients. As a High Performance Computing Network Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable, high-bandwidth networks that meet the needs of our clients' most demanding applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deployment: Design and deploy high-performance computing networks that meet the requirements of our clients' applications, including InfiniBand and RoCE-enabled Ethernet networks.
  • Network Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize network settings to maximize performance, including MTU, buffer sizes, and flow control parameters.
  • Congestion Management: Implement congestion management mechanisms to prevent congestion and ensure fair allocation of network resources.
  • Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor network performance metrics and analyze data to identify bottlenecks and optimize network configurations for optimal performance.
  • Security and Authentication: Implement security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality, including subnet partitioning, encryption, and access controls.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 Years Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience with InfiniBand architecture, protocols IBTA, and technologies, as well as proficiency in RoCE RDMA over Converged Ethernet protocols.
  • Design and Configuration: Experience designing and configuring high-performance networks, including InfiniBand fabrics and RoCE-enabled Ethernet networks.
  • Performance Analysis and Tuning: Experience analyzing network performance metrics, diagnosing bottlenecks, and optimizing network configurations for low latency and high throughput.
  • Security Measures: Knowledge of security measures for InfiniBand and RoCE networks, including subnet partitioning, encryption, and access controls.
  • Network Monitoring Tools: Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques for monitoring InfiniBand and RoCE network health and performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vendor Product Experience: Previous experience with network equipment vendor products, such as Juniper, Cisco, Arista, or OEM.
  • Education and Certification: A solid educational foundation in computer science or IT, and certification programs offered by vendors such as Mellanox now NVIDIA Networking for InfiniBand and RoCE technologies.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
