Key Responsibilities

The HR Specialist will:

  • Serve as a primary contact for HR-related inquiries from Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) staff and faculty supervisors.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Manage performance evaluations and training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Facilitate communication regarding HR updates and deadlines.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of experience in human resources or talent management.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional HR certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare or educational environment.
