Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Nurse Residency Program at Prisma Health. As a Nurse Residency Program participant, you will have the opportunity to develop your nursing skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Attend all quality and core curriculum classes to refine your nursing knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in professional development workshops and peer support groups to enhance your practice.
  • Successfully complete all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the Nurse Residency Program.
  • Work under the direct and indirect supervision of the Clinical Education Team to develop your clinical skills.
  • Actively participate in managing clinical situations for which you are assigned, under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing required.
  • Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
  • BLS required.
