Job Summary

The Nurse-Resident role is a dynamic opportunity for new graduate nurses to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Nurse-Resident, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse to refine your nursing practice and prepare for a successful career in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend quality and core curriculum classes to enhance your knowledge and skills
  • Participate in professional development workshops and peer support groups to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Successfully complete all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the Nurse Residency Program
  • Work under the direct and indirect supervision of the Clinical Education Team to refine your nursing knowledge and skills
  • Actively participate in managing clinical situations and provide care under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing
  • Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina
  • BLS required
