Job Title: Global Banking and Markets Risk Specialist

At Goldman Sachs, we are seeking a highly skilled Global Banking and Markets Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Sales and Trading Controls team, you will play a critical role in managing the supervisory framework for Global Banking and Markets Sales, Trading, and Strats supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks in the FICC and Equities businesses.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Trading Supervisors, Franchise Managers, Change Management, Controls Engineering, Product, and Designers to ensure solutions are designed and implemented for the Global Banking and Markets Division.
  • Support and drive governance for Electronic Trading globally, and facilitate new business initiatives for committee approval.
  • Design and enhance processes to provide consumers with best-in-class tools and insightful metrics to supervise risk for their business.
  • Work with data consumers and producers to negotiate ownership of data and execute the data governance framework, policies, standards, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of risks and controls across Trading and Sales businesses.
  • Working knowledge of software-driven risks.
  • Sufficient knowledge and the ability to run queries and create detailed data analysis.
  • Experience managing projects, and building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience of operational risk and a familiarity with operational risk frameworks a plus.
