Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • The Operations division is a vibrant and diverse sector that collaborates with all areas of the organization to provide banking, securities, and asset management solutions to clients globally. Furthermore, IBD Operations plays a crucial role in risk management and controls to safeguard and enhance the organization's assets and reputation. For every new product introduced and every transaction executed, IBD Operations formulates and oversees the processes and controls that facilitate business operations. IBD Operations is pivotal in driving and shaping industry changes, aiming to deliver enhanced accuracy, control, and efficiency for both clients and the business. The products supported are typically intricate instruments necessitating close alignment with the business. A primary focus for the organization is to establish robust risk management protocols and controls to ensure the protection of the firm and its clients. Each team member is responsible for optimizing processes and fostering innovative thinking from a global perspective.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the respective business and portfolio you support by performing daily exception monitoring, break resolution, tax documentation assistance, and various other tasks and projects.
  • Enhance your communication skills through engagement with middle office teams, tax teams, controllers, and other internal client groups to resolve transactional issues and collaborate on process and product enhancements.
  • Demonstrate your attention to detail by reviewing legal documents, client audit confirmations, and risk reports.
  • Cultivate your project management abilities by managing and/or assisting with projects aimed at system or process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Strong aptitude for relationship building and confident in both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptionally strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Adaptable and able to think strategically while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Excel (formulas, vlookups, pivots, macros a plus) and Word.
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player.
  • Eagerness to learn with a natural curiosity and drive.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
