Position Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Finance Manager to take charge of the financial operations for our US entities. This pivotal role will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial systems, enforce stringent internal controls, and contribute to our long-term ERP initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA qualification, coupled with extensive knowledge in tax compliance and a passion for enhancing financial processes.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee daily financial transactions for multiple US subsidiaries, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management.
  • Ensure adequate cash flow management across US bank accounts.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Process Development: Design and implement effective financial processes and internal controls to uphold corporate governance standards.
  • Financial Close Support: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Systems Development: Spearhead the implementation of financial systems to streamline transactional finance operations and prepare for future ERP integration.
  • Project Management: Lead short-term finance initiatives, including the establishment of a consolidated Purchase Order system and expense management solutions.
  • Tax Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with US tax regulations, collaborating with external advisors to meet all obligations.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize financial data to provide insights that inform strategic decisions and address operational challenges.
  • Financial Guidance: Offer financial insights to stakeholders, including cost analysis and risk management strategies.
  • Cost Analysis: Evaluate the cost structure within the organization, identifying cost drivers and collaborating with department heads to implement savings initiatives.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside finance, operations, and HR teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification with 7-10 years of progressive finance experience.
  • 3-5 years in a similar managerial role, focusing on transactional finance and process optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and strong technical accounting skills.
  • Proficient in financial analytics and reporting.
  • Experience in US tax compliance, particularly in multi-state operations.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing financial controls and processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI, with experience in ERP or project management software.
