As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our assisted living neighborhood, ensuring the highest level of care and services for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and lead the overall operation of the assisted living neighborhood, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-quality team of caregivers and support staff.
- Provide recognition and create an engaged culture for team members, residents, and families.
- Ensure the community follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Sunrise Senior Living standards, regarding resident care and services.
- Partner with the leadership team to ensure the community is in compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Assist the executive director in completing the annual community budget and manage the department budget, including labor and other expenses.
- Attend regular meetings, including Stand Up, Cross Over, Department Head Meetings, Town Hall, Quality Improvement, and others as directed by the Executive Director.
- Minimum one year supervisory/management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and supervision of daily operations in assisted living or long-term care.
- BA/BS degree may be required based on state requirements.
- Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new applications.
- Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
- Scheduling experience is a definite asset.
- A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential.
