About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly greet and engage with guests, determining their interests and needs to create a superior guest experience.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on our cake options, pricing, and promotions.
  • Process guest orders efficiently and accurately, inviting guests to join our email club for special promotions.
  • Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, including routine cleaning and replenishing of retail merchandise and cake display cases.
  • Assist the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies, including dress code and personal hygiene.

Requirements:

  • High energy and strong interpersonal skills; friendly, helpful, positive, patient, socially confident, and communicative.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Diligent, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Comfortable with new technology and ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to provide monetary change using U.S. currency.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
