Job SummaryThe Radiologic Technologist will play a critical role in our medical imaging department, working in ambulatory or acute care environments to perform and interpret radiologic exams. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring and processing high-quality images, working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients and equipment for exams, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
- Operate radiologic equipment, including fluoroscopy and c-arm systems, to produce high-quality images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise in radiologic imaging and patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in radiologic imaging, with a strong background in fluoroscopy and c-arm systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Experience with other modalities, such as MRI or CT scanning.
- Fluoroscopy experience preferred, with willingness to train.
- Other certifications, such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), preferred.
