Job SummaryThe Radiologic Technologist will play a critical role in our medical imaging department, working in ambulatory or acute care environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting radiologic exams, ensuring accurate and efficient results. The Technologist will work closely with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients and equipment for exams, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Operate radiological equipment, including fluoroscopy and c-arm systems, in a safe and effective manner.
- Collaborate with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences.
- Document patient information and exam results accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Graduate of a Radiology Program.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience with fluoroscopy and c-arm systems.
- Other modalities certifications preferred.
The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced medical imaging department, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences. The successful candidate will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
