Job Title: Studio Sales Manager

As a Sales Studio Manager at Orangetheory Fitness, you will be responsible for leading the sales and group personal training teams, providing daily direction and guidance to ensure the success of our studio. This critical role requires a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence, as well as the ability to execute a lead generation and marketing strategies plan to increase fitness program sales and promote the health and wellness benefits associated with a healthy lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model all studio activities and sales processes through self-involvement (leading by example)
  • Conduct 30-60-90 day and annual staff performance reviews
  • Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (promotions, events, outreach)
  • Oversee the entire sales process and systems
  • Manage, monitor, develop, and evaluate the performance of all OTF-related managers and staff
  • Monitor the hiring, training, and scheduling of all OTF sales staff
  • Develop a high-energy culture through contests and incentive-based motivation while being promotionally oriented
  • Properly empower, monitor, and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities (daily production) of sales team and fitness team
  • Manage disciplinary actions involving all OTF studio employees in a timely manner
  • Monitor revenue, ordering, inventory, cost controls, and facilities maintenance with direct communication with Administrative Assistant
  • Audit staff time clocks on a weekly basis and submit studio payroll every other week in a timely manner, with compliance and integrity
  • Plan and host monthly staff meetings with sales and fitness team to review and report monthly sales objectives, goals, events, and marketing campaigns
  • Attend weekly meetings with Regional Manager and/or Owner to report on weekly activities and progress
  • Ensure all front desk systems are followed, including proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiries (general and sales related), Intro booking, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests, and document scanning
  • Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using OTF tools for effective outreach and community involvement
Operational Duties:
  • Meet performance metrics (KPIs) month over month
  • Comply with and adhere to OTF Business Policies for daily studio operations
  • Properly manage and exceed all OTF sales and operational budgets
  • Ensure OTF branding through consistency and continuity in all actions and uniform adherence
  • Enforce OTF corporate policies, business practices, systems, and processes
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service
  • Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues
  • Ensure the facility is clean, maintained, and operationally sound
Job Qualifications:
  • Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and members
  • Min 2-3 years of previous sales experience highly recommended
  • Previous management experience in the health and fitness industry strongly recommended
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to multi-task managing clients and staff concerns
  • Strong computer skills required with knowledge of MS office programs (Excel, Word)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or health-related field preferred
  • Health and fitness-minded people with a passion for fitness strongly preferred
