About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As an MLP Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and advancing cutting-edge technology that supports our nation's defense services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes used in our production.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs, determine project time standards, and recommend tools and processes for new and existing product lines.
  • Provide guidance to fellow engineers, helping them to enhance organizational design concepts and manufacturing techniques.

  • Practice creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance.
  • Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers' changing business needs.
  • Support and engage in programs, projects, and practices behind our company culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related specialized area or field.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • GPA 3.0 (minimum); 3.6 preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and high motivation.
