The Americas Service Marketing Strategist role, reporting to the Global Marketing Director for Service, is a pivotal position within the Global Service Growth & Marketing team.

This position is dedicated to pinpointing and leveraging service business expansion prospects across all Business Units and Functions within the Americas region.

Responsibilities encompass the formulation of a Service portfolio that includes Service Contracts, Value-added Services, and OEM Solutions aimed at driving revenue enhancement.

The role underscores the importance of improving business outcomes through a comprehensive understanding of Smith+Nephew's commercial landscape, financial assessments, market research, and customer feedback.

Key priorities include generating content for customer and channel engagement, crafting training resources, systematically organizing and disseminating service/market analytics to uncover growth avenues, lead generation, and digital/online marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Collaboration:** Forge extensive relationships across Smith & Nephew, particularly with the North American sales and marketing teams, to bolster the new organizational structure.

- **Service Portfolio Development:** Work alongside stakeholders across various franchises to construct a comprehensive portfolio of Service offerings.

- **Tiered Service Offerings:** Innovate new tiered service options at varying price points and establish a compelling value proposition.

- **Contract Capture Rates:** Monitor contract acquisition rates for Services across key business units and implement strategies to enhance these metrics.

- **Value-added Services:** Identify and introduce new value-added service offerings, such as OEM solutions and EMR/PACS integration services, to enrich the service portfolio and stimulate revenue growth.

- **Service Pricing Analysis:** Evaluate service pricing across different segments and initiate corrective actions where necessary.

- **Sales and Marketing Plans:** Assist in the formulation of sales and marketing strategies for the Americas Service sector.

- **Customer Insights Development:** Generate customer insights and conduct industry benchmarking to ensure a competitive service offering.

- **Business Planning & Forecasting:** Collaborate with Finance and other departments to create commercially viable plans and establish appropriate performance targets, supported by actionable plans.

Qualifications for Success:

- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.

- 8-12 years of professional experience in the Medical Devices or Technology sector, particularly in Sales, Marketing, or Operations roles, with a strong preference for Service experience.

- Proven ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.

- Familiarity with SAP and/or other ERP/CRM systems is advantageous.

- Excellent communication and consensus-building capabilities.

- Demonstrated ability to drive change and establish new processes and procedures.

- Experience in digital marketing is highly valued.
