Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all unit functions. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care according to established policies.

This position requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can serve as a resource for staff and support an unparalleled patient experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Assisting with admission and discharge processes.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and leadership to drive improved outcomes and services.
  • Providing coaching, feedback, and training to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Supporting staff scheduling needs.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of one year of applicable experience is required, along with current licensure in Alaska as a Registered Nurse and relevant certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
